The 9th annual Shorts and to the Point Brookfield Film Festival will be shown at the Brookfield Senior Center located at 100 Pocono Road, across from the Brookfield Post Office. The festival begins on March 31, with a 7:30pm showing.
Local film student and featured director, Rachel Blumberg will be speaking during intermission about her experience with film making and the genre of short films. Olivia Hampson, also of Brookfield and now living and working in Hawaii, will have her short film, “Phases of Mahina” featured. Members of the Brookfield Arts Commission will also be in attendance. Food and beverages will be available. Experience the wide variety of films, chosen by the Commission and Film Festival Committee members.
Showings are Friday, 3/31 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, 4/1 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, April 2 at 3 pm.
Admission is $15 (suggested donation) and includes a complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres.
